Writing a Better Story

Every now and then, I can free some space in my mind and in my schedule to work on some art. In one of my classes this final semester of school I have requested and been given the space to create 3 pieces of artwork that will replace the typical 25 pg. research paper that is assigned. This is the first piece. I have yet to write a short statement that will accompany the image, but for now I wanted to share the image alone.

I also submitted it to a local art show in the hopes that it will be displayed during their “love-themed” exhibit that runs for the month of February. When submitting it, I presented a definition of love as “writing the story for someone when they could not write it themselves”.
