Sync or Swim by Gary Chapman, Paul White, and Harold Myra just came in! This book is a fable about workplace communication and I was thrilled to design Sam, Olympia, and the 7 characters from Spruce Isle whom they have to motivate into working as a functional team. What started as 9 quick character sketches turned into 14 illustrations (see them here) for the book including a great group shot for the back cover. These are some of the favorite characters I have designed and in a style that has a little different feel than my usual work!
